I am so disappointed this product has been discontinued. A housekeeper I hired ruined the finish of my cooktop, and now I can't get another.

I was in the market to replace my cooktop because the one that was installed in my house at the time that bought my house was terrible and partially broken. When it decided to blow out, I had to search for a replacement. Considering it was on short notice and my budget was low, I came across this model at my local Lowe's. The installation was done by Lowe's and I've had the cooktop for about 3 months now. So far no issues. It heats up very fast and looks better in my kitchen than the old black colored cooktop that it replaced. I'm happy and hope it lasts way longer than it's predecessor.

As an ASE Master Tech since 1978, I have seen many type of metals in my time repairing vehicles and an accomplished welder.. This one takes the cake. Retired & empty nester's, this was big money and we cook. Bought 3 Frigidaire product together and I installed. Now, 6 months out of warranty, the surface of stainless steel can not be cleaned, regardless of the method or product used. Magnets do NOT stick to stainless unless it is "Ferritic", but all 3 of our product do. That tells me that there is no chromium, nickel or molybdenum (Or little of it) to look like stainless. Either way, it makes my wife mad. We cleaned immediately after cooking every time, but just looked worse and worse. It stains, browns, streaks, smears and diss-colors. Would not buy again! My magnet, in my hand will not stick to my 14' garage bench, and it is cleaner than the cooktop. Wow! I should just drive down the street and toss $20 out the window. What did you think would happen, when people put food & heat on that metal. I get it...A 12 step program to say "NO" to real stainless steel...What do you cook on?

We installed this cook top two weeks ago during a granite counter top installation. Similar to our older model, this cook top integrates well with the new granite. A classic timeless design and layout was exactly what we were looking for. This model heats up quickly!

I originally bought this in stainless steel, but had to return it and have it replaced with black. The stainless steel rusted within a week. The black is amazing, though.

This cooktop is the worst I have ever had. It is flimsy, cheap looking and the heating elements don't seat properly. I just bought this unit in December and am looking to replace it 4 months later.

We had an old (20 year old) version of this cooktop that finally gave out and needs replacing. This one fit perfectly in our cutout and works really well. Was very reasonably priced as well which was a huge plus.
