I've had 2 of these freezers, stupid me, both just stopped working - all my stored fruit and vegetables ruined... Don't buy this freezer, just don't.

I am 75 yrs old, I do a lot of cooking large amounts, so that I can freeze in the amounts that I eat in one meal. This size was what I needed and what I could afford. It fits perfect in my back bedroom and I LOVE IT.. Thank you so much Frigidaire for having this size.

Worked well for 2 years then started to melt food, power light still on but no freezing, repairs would cost more than units value

Bought this to have more freezer space without taking up lots of room. This freezer is perfect for overflow and foods not use everyday. The size made it very easy to set to itself in a small space in the garage.

We received delivery of the first freezer on July 19 (2017). It was plugged in and started cooling. Four hours later, the freezer was no longer working and could not be revived. Arranging a replacement with Best Buy was easy, and a second chest freezer was delivered on July 29. That one had apparently had a rough trip from the manufacturer, because there were some dents near the control. The finish was undamaged, and this one actually worked and is still working 2 weeks later. Best Buy would not want this box in its showroom, but it works fine for our garage.

This is a great little freezer for all the longer I have had it. I bought it a month ago and it is working perfectly. It arrived without any dents or even any scratches. I am well pleased with its performance so far; if it lasts like this for twenty years I will KEEP my rating of excellent:).

My Wife and I recently purchased half of a cow that completely filled our 17 cu ftFrigidaire upright freezer. We needed some thing to catch the overflow and saw this. The price was right and it was light enough to carry into the basement . It seems to be performing well and holds 94 pounds of hamburger with room tospare

I bought this because my refrigerator/freezer in my kitchen could not hold all of my frozen foods. I bought this to put down in the basement so I could free up some space. This freezer is wonderful and has worked perfectly since I got it! I am glad I made this purchase!

Freezer only worked for 10-12 days, then stopped freezing, having run-out of freon. Couldn't be repaired because it was a "new" kind of freon. A waste of time, money and effort

I purchased the Frigidaire chest freeze to allow me to purchase food items in larger amounts and freeze it. Live and eat alone, so I don't want to keep buying single portion food items. Thanks it is just the right size for me.

Had been wanting a small freezer for some time and my son came through for me at Christmas. It has absolutely silent operation, just sits there quietly storing all the 'buy one - get one free' items that I used to have to pass on due to lack of freezer space. Not to mention I can actually find things in my refrigerator freezer now that it's not packed to the gills.

Purchased alittle over a month ago and runs so quietly that the only way you know its running is the light on the setting control. I put a freezer thermometer in it and it always reads -10 F. So far very please with this unit.

It keeps shutting off. I went back to the store to talk to them about it. They assured me that when it had reached the right temp, it shut off, green light and all. Two nights ago the ice cream was soft. Talked to the store yesterday and they have decided to bring me a new one. I am nervous about this product as it is loaded with organic meat. Should the green light ever go off?
