For a lower end product this one is very good. Its a smaller refrigerator than what I want. Not much drawer space, two on the bottom only. I purchased some containers to slide into the bottom shelf which hold bottles of water sodas, etc. Also Ive only had this refrigerator for about a year and a half and the handle has already brown in half.

Awesome freezer. Everything stay cold and fresh in the fridge. Size is to small for my household of 8. Glass tables are very weak and bend with only a gallon of milk, juice, soda on it have to put heavy items on the side and light items in the middle. I would definitely recommend making the tables stronger!

No light in the freezer and this is a full size family unit not a dorm size..it was $850, Really no light? Doesn't cool well, fridge temp is okay but not cold. Freezer takes a while to freeze ice trays and ice cream is easy to scoop with a regular spoon. Bought it to replace old fridge in garage and the 20 yr old freezer was much better.

So far it keeps perfect temperature, has a large freezer space, and runs quietly. I also like the black finish. It doesn't show fingerprints. I was looking for a GE because of all the good reviews from other customers that I had read about. I had looked at all the other refrigerators offered in our area and this one met all my needs. So far we're very happy with it.

This was purchased on 8/30/2019 , and 8 months later the refrigerator is now broken, yet the freezer is still cold as normal !!!!! Seems a FAN issue ?????? Lost over $150 in food :-(

Refrigerator is much louder when the compressor is running. Makes s gurgle type sound. Checked to make sure unit was level. 23 year old Amana refrigerator was much quieter.

2nd fridge I ever bought. As a kid I remember there was GE everywhere. Relatives, friends etc. If I remember correctly the name of my former High School in Chicago was Charles P Steinmetz. The engineers engineer. Artificial lightening bolt. Electric geniuses all those people together.

Works as advertised! Basic model-no electronic frills such as outside-the-door water dispenser, no outside lighting; no outside switches/push-buttons, no outside anything! Simple, standard design, top freezer works great! With ice maker. My hope is to get at least 10-15 years out of this basic unit my hope is an antidote to the fact that five-seven year life is about the limit on CMOS logic circuits used on PCB boards controlling these little beasts. Beware those outside frills.

This is what we need. don't need automatic maker. We needed a perfectly working appliance to replace our old GE unit after 20 years of dependable service. GE is make in the USA. Most other machines are owned by the same company under different name brands.

Works perfectly. Plenty of room. I did inadvertently tapped the bottom cover with my foot and it fell off. Difficult for me to bend over and try to reattach, but I got a small stool to sit on and was able to get the cover back on.

The size of the refrigerator holds more products than our previous refrigerator but the exterior is easily marked, scuffed, and dents easily. The noise of the refrigerator runs a little louder than our previous refrigerator but its bearable. Overall, it was worth the purchase.

We just love our new GE refrigerator - even more after the ice maker was installed. Though this one is different than our previous GE fridge there are many features I love: glass shelves to keep spills to one shelf and as few other items as possible, the storage bins on door and placement of temp control to front of fridge where it can be seen easily.
I don't know what is above and behind the control knob but one cannot place taller items in the center because something sticks down farther than on the sides. Also, the veggie/fruit bins don't give one much room at all due to the severe angle in back of the bins. Also, the front of the fridge and freezer doors are not the same smudge free texture that is on the sides of the refrigerator. Thought everything would be textured the same or at least the front of fridge and freezer would be smudge free and sides not.
No matter. I'm thankful to have an appliance that works.

Needs better & more storage bins. Shelves are deep and have to reach far back. However, crispers aren't deep enough! Also, needs 3rd bin for lunch meats/cheese. Otherwise, greatly pleased! Lots of room for everything!
