Horrible!!!

Junk I™€™m a repair technician and have been trying to get a 14 month old unit working. GE service line is unhelpful, they had to send the certified tech out since my company is not and they came up with same solution as mine new board. Been changed twice now and still not working properly. Checked water inlets, floats , all parts and still not working. Worst overpriced product ever seen.

Awful product & terrible customer service

I would give this product 0 stars if I could. I do not recommend this appliance line whatsoever. We were sent a defective brand new ice maker that makes the most horrific ear-piercing sound that can be heard through the entire house every time it refills. We have requested kindly from GE for a replacement and instead they have sent out random parts and had us hire plumbers to uninstall & reinstall it over and over again over the past 8 months and it™€™s still not working. Their customer service is severely lacking and I wouldn™€™t ever order from them again.

Broken in less than 2 years with proper maintenance. So discouraging. Every appliance we have had from GE has broken in less than 2 years including Fridge, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Biggest mistake of my life! These appliances have ruined my quality of life no doubt, the time it takes to repair them 8am-5pm windows, cancellations and multiple appointments for one appliance is insane! Stay far away from these appliances!

Worked for a week then went to cleaning and reset filter. Had the compressor changed by a GE serviceman, made ice for a week then went back to blinking clear and reset filter setting. If you can avoid this I would. Our Whirlpool one was amazing and never gave us issues like our Cafe appliances have been.
