My grandmother lives in an apartment for senior citizens and they supply her stove and we absolutely love her brand & the size is just perfect! We recommend! The only feature we wish it had was self cleaning! But we still love!

When our full sized range passed into the great beyond, my husband and I decided we wanted a smaller sized one for our very tiny kitchen. This was the perfect size, without all of the fancy gadgets on it. This gives us more flexibility with the remodel he doesn't know is coming yet!

Easy use. No oven light makes it hard to see how you food is cooking.
No drawer so store pans and such in cupboard where i need all the room I can get.
Warming up elements on top of range is fast. Use flashlight to see my food. No window in door.

Good, but wonder about the ease of cleaning - the little backboard seems like it would be hard to clean under and the top doesn't lift for cleaning. I miss having a drawer in the wasted space under the oven.

I live in an apartment and the 60 yea are old stove needed to be replaced with another 24™ slide in so options were limited. This stove is definitely a no frills model and does not have a light in the oven and no storage drawer.

it fits in the small space i have available yet big enough to cook a good size turkey. i love how fast the elements heat up. no need for a fancy stove there. was also easy to install.

Nice range & oven works well although it could use a bottom drawer. The space is there just needs a tray and guides, for a small investment it would be a big improvement and worth more at retail.

I had this range installed a couple of weeks ago by Best Buy. The installer accidentally turned on the oven during the install which melted the plastic bag that was inside.
It turns out that the oven will turn on just by brushing past the oven knob.. Since the knob is on the front of the stove; it's easy to accidentally brush by it. There is no "push in" to turn it on like there is for the burners.
This seems to me to be a serious safety issue and I'll be asking GE for some kind of retrofit; otherwise I'll be returning the product. I've put a piece of tape over the oven dial to keep it from accidentally turned on. Looks ugly, but better then the alternative.
Also, it gets VERY hot on the top of the oven; I mean enough to burn fingers, melt plastic, etc. AND, there is no identifying TAG on the range anywhere. You would not be able to identify the manufacturer, model, serial number; nothing. I looked inside the oven, oven door, the back and all the side. I guess it could be underneath.

The range works but there is virtually no oven insulation. The sides (and top) get so hot I would not put it right next to a wooden cabinet without putting a heat shield between the two. The other drawback is no storage drawer. I would NOT recommend this stove. Buy something with good oven insulation.

My house is strange for being old, in that the kitchen is tiny . The opening for the range is just over 26 inches. this range is 24 so would fit . It works well and has a surprisingly large oven.We were able to (it was a tight fit ) fit in a 16" pizza and cook it perfect. Great Range!!
