Worst oven ever!!!!

I bought this to match appliance suite. Stovetop works fine (really have no use for warmer burner), but oven has never been right. I constantly have to play guessing games with oven temperature and monitor closely so I don™€™t burn my baking. When new, repair person came several times and nothing would correct this. Whirlpool would not replace. Also burned new set of baking sheets I saved to use in new oven. Of course, initially did not know high temp would be a problem, so.. and had to throw out several trays of baked (burned) goods. Whirlpool would not compensate. Oh warantee extended for a year, but did not matter™€¦ would not replace this lemon. So several years later I am hating this monstrosity and have to babysit everything i put in the oven!! Really sorry I did not keep my GE that was perfect!!

First range delivered in Dec 20, had rubber molding around oven falling off. Was quickly replaced and now issues with constant squeaking sound when oven is in operation. I see this is not a new problem so rather than replacing, looking at different oven. The Chat function was a painful process. Really trying to buy made in America.

I do not like that you must have door closed on oven to broil. makes it tough to do a gr8 job broiling. like the big burners and quick heat up of top units. It seems to take a long time to cool down. Yes top looks "used" even with constant cleaning. I'm in my 70's so I hope it last longer than I do. Don't want to have to buy another one.

We bought the stove in January. It was great and were getting used to have an evenly heated oven and a great stove top. Our previous stove had gotten pretty old. However, for some reason one hinge on the oven door broke. It was weird. It was fine one day and then the next it was not. The repair guy had to leave the oven door off, so we will be waiting quite a long time before it gets fixed due to the virus pandemic. I would have given it 5 stars but I am concerned that the oven hinge just broke without any reason.

My previous one had a black and whitel glass top, very easy to clean and maintain. This one with the black glass top is the most difficult reange to keep and maintain. At this time there are two stains that I have no idea where they came from and nothing can eliminate the stains. Other than these as of today it is working properly. I would recommend this product but not with the black glass top.

Broiler Broken within first 8 weeks

I bought the range early June. After a third time reordering it, we finally got one that wasn't banged up. That was in October. I used the broiler probably twice since then. Went to use it on Thanksgiving and it would not work at all. Now I'm having to have someone come out and FIX a brand new range. This shouldn't happen. I was told by Lowes that I would have to pay a service call for them to come fix it had I not bought a service plan. I told them that wouldn't happen...I'd bring it back and roll it into the store first. It's sad that a brand new range requires fixing before it's 90 days old.

I've had my new range for a month now and I'm quite satisfied. The smooth top is easy to clean and keep clean, once you figure out the cleaning regimen that works for you. I try to wipe up spills or drippings as soon as they happen, which makes it easier to clean up after cooking.For tough burnt-on spills, I use a bit of bathroom scouring powder on a damp sponge. Any left over tough spots are easily removed with any of the magic eraser sponges. Same for the oven. Contrary to what I have read in other reviews, the smooth top does not scratch easily. At least the scouring powders I use have not scratched mine. Initially, finding the right knob to turn on the right burner was a nuisance, but I have gotten used to that. The oven seems to take a bit longer to heat that other ranges I had in the past. Those are not big issues. I am enjoying this product and recommend it to others.
